Stripped (Full Album HD Digital Download)

To commemorate 20 years since Dishwalla Pet Your Friends Album was released, I am releasing an acoustic, stripped down version of the songs (chosen by fans) in the way I initially wrote them... and for those of you who are true audiophiles you can now get the new record in HD…. and the difference to an mp3 or mp4 is amazing!

An HD audio file is not compressed like an Mp3, it contains even more sound data than a physical CD. An HD audio file is a one to one exact digital copy of the master tape. There is no better way to hear recorded music on this planet than hearing an HD hi res audio file played back via your computer or your digital music server with a good pair of speakers. You can even take Master Quality with you on the go with all the new portable hi res players on the market now. When you hear back the new album in 48k/24bit its like watching the highest quality 80 inch Plasma HDTV with a blu ray as its source.

A standard download Mp3 is 128 Kbps of sonic information [kilobytes per second]
A higher quality MP3 would be 256 Kbps
A CD is 4411 Kbps or 44.1k / 16 bit which is why your CDs sound so much better than your MP3s
The HD tracks Master Quality files for the new record will be at 48K / 24 bit which is as high as the original master recording. They will come as Hi resolution WAV files in true 24 bit that can be played by most media players on your computer.

Once your transaction is complete a Hi-Rez download link will be sent to the email address you provided. (May take 24 Hours and Please check your spam folder in case you do not see it) Click on the link to download the album file. Once downloaded, please decompress the file (usually double clicking on it works). A folder titled "Stripped HD Version" will appear. Open this folder to find each song in HD format (24bit/48k), a PDF file containing all of the album credits, pictures and lyrics and a PDF text file "Read Me" that explains this format in more detail.
