This is the original demo I did for "The Fading Light" from "Honore et Amore" and is a very gospel sounding version using only piano and vocal. Generally I will work on a song in this simple format as I'm writing and then decide how I might do it for an album later. It is much slower than the album version which I ended up recording as a full band. Listening to them both now, in some ways I think this slower/ simpler version is even more lyrically powerful when done this way. Let me know what you think and I hope you enjoy the listen - JR
